DRIFTERS MC PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE

Well it’s warming up and the riding season is here. 

I would like to start out remembering John Marshall who we lost on February 1Oth. I certainly didn’t know John as well as most of you, he was on just about every ride that I went on with the club, I would often sit by him at the breakfast or lunches and quickly found out that he had a wealth of knowledge about all the places that we went and the things that we saw along the way. I will miss his knowledge and insights. 

Please be reminded that Johns beautiful Goldwing and Cadillac are up for sale and are 1st being offered to our clubs members. You can contact Mike Rowe for details.

Also, don’t forget the Drifters Day at Johns garage and shop Tuesday, March 12th, 9:30am to 4pm and the very kind gesture by his family to offer his tools, parts and various items to our members. 

It would be awesome if we could all show up and and make this an unofficial meeting and offer memories and good times had in memory of John.

Thank you to all those who showed up for the impromptu Superbowl party at my house, good food was brought and had by all. We all had a great time and Mike showed us his true admiration for Taylor and her Swifties.

An update on the Panguitch Old Skool Motorcycle Rally, July 11th thru 14th. Sign ups are open, just google the above rally.

My family and I will be staying at the Dixie Forest Camp Ground in Panguitch in the 1st site with the flag pole as you enter the campground. We are planning on having a group dinner on Saturday (details to follow) and possibly a breakfast Sunday morning. There are still campsites, cabins, and hotel rooms available in town, ranging from $35 – $60 per night. They are raffling off a beautiful 2005 Big Dog Ridgeback chopper this year.
