DRIFTERS PRESIDENTS MESSAGE JUNE 2024

The weather has improved our riding conditions and really opened up where we can ride to and what we can enjoy along the way.

David and the ride committee have put together some awesome rides this past month and we are seeing more and more new riders and members showing interest in our eclectic group with great turnout numbers for our weekly rides. I really appreciate the way the rides are set up and planned out for variety, sight seeing, skill levels, safety, and especially the food in mind.

Please keep spreading the word to others who may be interested in participating with the Drifters, new members make our group grow stronger and bring new conversation and war stories.

We had some great rides in May to Kanab, Cliff Dwellers, Duck Creek, Antimony, and this week we’re headed to Pioche.

The April Drifter dinner at La Fonda was well attended and the food and drink was well recieved.

I was not able to attend last weeks dinner at Rustys, I hope all had a good meal and good company.

There are alot of riding events coming up the next few months and I hope to see a lot of you there.

As I’ve shared before, my family and I will be at the Panguitch rally Thursday thru Sunday. I plan to  have a Bbq Dinner on Saturday evening from 5-7 pm at the Dixie forest campgound in Panguitch where we are staying. I will provide the meat and potato salad, I would ask that you bring a side dish if you plan on attending. I will have 6-8 family and friends in attendance, we’d love to have all that can attend to come and share in good times and true or not stories.
