Monthly Presidents Message

The season change is upon us, the colors and weather is changing and its a great time to ride.

Last weeks ride to the North Rim was awesome, great views, good food, and outstanding company.

I had the opportunity to go on some beautiful rides up north on the last few weekends, my wife even went this past weekend ( on my bike ) it was a great time. We got to ride the Nebo Loop and then this past Sunday we did the Alpine loop and Guardsman pass area, very beatiful, but alot of traffic, seems like everyone had the same idea.

As the weather changes, watch for changing destinations for rides, we will head to different areas other than the mountains as it cools off and see some areas we haven’t seen in a long while.

We have been seeing more interest in our club as our community grows, please encourage others to join us for a ride that you might see or meet riding that you feel would compliment our club, it’s always nice to add new stories and experiences to our group.

This month’s dinner is at Pig’s Ear in Hurricane, if you haven’t been there, the food is pretty fantastic, I encourage you to try it if you haven’t already.

October is a busy month for my family, so I will see you all as time allows, we are on vacation from the 11th-18th in Tennessee, and then we motorhome all the way to North Carolina and back the 22nd-28th to welcome our son back to the states as he transfers back from Japan.

We do have our annual club business meeting coming up on the 2nd of November. We have moved the date to try to take advantage of the warmer weather and to enjoy David and Tammy Longs beautiful back yard. Please plan on attending so that you can participate in planning our activities for next year and also to nominate and vote in our new officers and approve club business.
